How does the calculator work?
Your living costs, your savings and your business costs make up what you need each month. Taxes and contributions are added on top, which gives your monthly revenue goal.
The hourly rate comes from the hours you actually bill: your work days, daily hours, the weeks left after time off, and the share of your time that is client work. The rest is marketing, admin and learning, and it has to be paid for too.
If you enter the average price of a sale, you also see how many clients you need each month. The result is an estimate: your accountant can tell you your taxes exactly.
