What's new

Everything that has shipped in Modulyo, version by version: when it arrived, what came with it and why we built it. The product keeps growing, and you can follow it here.

2.9 · Right side panel on every page

Right side panel with a conversation and details

Use the button at the right end of the header, next to your profile picture, to open and close the right side panel on any page. Ask about the page you are on, switch between the Conversation and Details tabs for a contact on the First 10 clients board, and get Glossary answers from “Ask about it” right there, without leaving the page. Every conversation is also kept under Conversations.

Why it helps: Until now a closed side panel could not be reopened, and asking a question meant leaving the page. Now the question and answer sit next to your work.

2.8 · Builder plan: more businesses and a monthly AI analysis

Monthly AI analysis in the monthly report

On the Builder plan you can have the AI write, at the bottom of the Monthly report, what worked this month, what to watch and the three things to focus on next month. It costs no credits and can be requested three times a month.

Why it helps: Numbers alone do not tell you what to do differently; the analysis turns your own data into a direction for next month.

Number of businesses per plan

Explorer and Founder include one active business, Builder as many as you like. If you already have more than one, you keep them all; you can start a new one after archiving one, or with Builder.

Why it helps: It makes clear what Builder adds over Founder: building several businesses in parallel.

2.7 · Tool map

Which AI tool is good for what

The new Tool map shows what an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok), an AI site builder (Lovable, v0, Replit, Bolt), a coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor), a visual site builder (Framer, Webflow) and Figma are good for. You also see when to choose which, and what to bring from Modulyo. Available without an account too.

Why it helps: Today the fastest way to build a website is with AI, but there are many tools. Now you do not have to guess which one to start with.

2.6.1 · Safe plan changes

Plan changes and cancellation with a confirmation step

If you already subscribe and pick another plan on the Subscription page, the Stripe customer portal opens: you see when the change takes effect and what you pay, and nothing changes until you confirm. Choosing Explorer takes you to cancellation.

Why it helps: Until now a plan change could start a second subscription next to the first, so you would have paid twice.

2.6 · Take it to your assistant

Your business in one package for your own AI assistant

With the “Take it to your assistant” button in the Handbook and on the Offer page you put who you are, what you offer and at what price, your offer page text and your handbook into one package. You choose what it should help with (website, content or general help) and open it in Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with one click, or download it.

Why it helps: Your assistant no longer guesses: it builds your website or writes your copy from the facts you worked out in Modulyo, and knows to come back to you and Modulyo with questions.

Translate your offer page with AI

In the Offer page editor you can translate your page into English, German or Hungarian with one click (2 credits per language). You can then edit the translation just like the original.

Why it helps: If you also speak to clients in other languages, you do not have to rewrite everything by hand.

2.5.1 · Messages ready to send

No more [placeholders] in written messages

When the chat writes a message, e-mail or post for you, it comes signed with your name and without [square brackets] to fill in. If something is missing, such as a booking link, it words the text so it works without it and tells you afterwards what is worth adding. In the First 10 clients side panel it also takes into account what the board shows about the contact.

Why it helps: You no longer have to comb through the text after copying it before you send it.

2.5 · Versions and changelog

I want you to feel that Modulyo gets better every week, and to see what changed, when and why. That's why every update now gets a version number and a few lines on why we built it.

David, founder of Modulyo

Version number and changelog

Modulyo now has a version number. You find the one you are using at the bottom of the profile menu, and from there the What's new page lists every version with its date, what came with it and why.

Why it helps: You can see what changed and when, so you never have to guess why something looks different from yesterday.

2.4 · Plans, offer page in more languages

Plans: see what you get, and carry on where you were after switching

Plan cards now tell you what a plan does for you: who it's for, what the credits cover and what it adds to the one before. A comparison table lists every feature by module. When you run out of credits or a lesson is locked, you see what the next plan would give you. After switching, a window lists what opened up and where to find it, and one button takes you back to where you started. New on the website: Why Modulyo?

Why it helps: You don't have to guess which plan you need, and switching doesn't make you lose your place.

Your offer page in more than one language

You can now translate your offer page into the other languages: the original text sits under each field, so you can fill it in language by language. Visitors can switch between the finished languages on the public page, and if you change the original later, we show which translation needs an update.

Why it helps: You can show clients abroad what you offer in their own language.

Every save shows where it goes

At the bottom of every guided step you see where its result keeps working: in the Handbook, the weekly plan and, depending on the step, the practice conversation, the offer page or the First 10 clients board. The client board, practice conversations, idea scorer and weekly post also say what is saved and what it affects, and before deleting, what changes.

Why it helps: After every step you know where your work is used next, so none of it feels wasted.

2.3 · Clear saving, buttons that explain themselves

When I save something, I want to know where it went, what it affects and how to look back at it. When a button doesn't work, I want to know why. I want the same for you, so the whole product now works this way.

David, founder of Modulyo

A side panel for your first 10 clients

On the First 10 clients board, "Next step?" now opens on the right, next to the board, with one saved conversation per contact. The monthly report shows the board summary here too. Lists and headings in chat answers appear on their own lines again.

Why it helps: You no longer leave the board to get advice on a contact, and the earlier conversation is still there.

Every unavailable button now tells you why

When something isn't available right now, hover over or click the button to see why and what you can do: which step comes first, which plan includes it, when the next challenge day opens. Where there is a way forward, a button takes you there.

Why it helps: No more guessing why something doesn't work: you see right away what to do.

See where what you save goes

Your weekly review stays readable after saving and tells you what it feeds: next week's plan, the monthly report and the new Weekly journal. The Weekly journal shows all your weeks in one place, with a summary of any period. The monthly report measures revenue against your life goal, and the Months list lets you look back. Both can be edited and deleted, and before deleting you see what changes.

Why it helps: You can trust that your work is kept, and look back at how you progressed week by week.

Focus time in the header, with background sound and a time log

A running focus block now sits in the header on every page, where you can pause or finish it. If you like, a quiet background sound plays (deep noise, rain or a soft hum), and a gentle chime marks the end. Then two short questions: how did it go, and what would you do differently next time? The new time log in your weekly plan shows when and how long you worked.

Why it helps: You don't have to stay on the timer page, and at the end of the week you see where your time really went.

2.2 · A calmer, consistent interface

I saw too many font sizes, boxes and different widths, and it tired me too. I want a calm place to work where the content matters, not the frame.

David, founder of Modulyo

Every step page and Progress in the new layout

The remaining ten guided step pages are now split into sections too, and earlier versions and email previews look the same everywhere. The offer page editor shows which parts are done, and the preview appears in a browser window. On Progress, the map and the learning path are lighter, without boxes.

Why it helps: Every step puts the same things in the same place, so you search less.

One consistent, easier-to-read layout

The handbook and the guided step pages now share one layout: the section heading stays in view while you scroll, steps appear numbered along a line, label–value pairs sit in tidy rows, and the most important sentence is highlighted. The challenge days follow a timeline, and the monthly report is split into sections too.

Why it helps: You see at a glance where you are and what matters, even on long pages.

Fewer boxes, clearer pages

The weekly plan, offer page, handbook and profile are now laid out in sections: the heading and a short note on the left, what to do on the right. Boxes only appear where something needs to stand out.

Why it helps: Fewer frames, more room for content: you find what to do faster.

David's stories in the steps

At the top of each guided step, a “David's experience” button opens a short example from David's own work: how he handled the same step.

Why it helps: Instead of theory you get a real decision you can borrow from for your own.

A warmer, clearer Today page

The Today page now uses sections instead of boxes: the heading and a short note on the left, what to do on the right. Greys are warmer, progress bars use the logo's apricot, and section icons take the logo's colours.

Why it helps: Your day starts calmer: one glance, and you know what to do next.

Calmer colours, light buttons

Main buttons are now near-white in light mode and cream in dark mode, so they always read clearly. Highlights use the cocoa brown from the logo, boxes are more neutral and illustrations are softer.

Why it helps: Easier on the eyes, and the main button is always obvious.

2.1 · Focus time, first clients, a website with AI

Time templates and lighter weeks

The weekly plan can start from a ready time budget: next to a job, with a small child, part-time or full-time. If your energy is low or tasks stay undone three weeks in a row, the next plan gets lighter on its own, and says so. At the end of the website step you can have your live site checked by theuxbites in one click.

Why it helps: The plan fits your real life, so a hard week doesn't mean starting over.

First 10 clients and monthly report

In the Analyze module you can note who you reached out to and follow how far they get: reply, call, offer, purchase. The validation log shows where things stall and which step to rework. The monthly report sums up your month on one page.

Why it helps: You no longer keep track of contacts in your head, and you see where interested people drop off.

Build your website with an AI assistant too

The Web Presence step now recommends AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) next to website builders, and gives you a build prompt to paste in. The new "How does it become a live website?" part explains domain, hosting and publishing.

Why it helps: You can get to a live website without coding or expensive tools.

Focus time, weekly review and calendar

Start a 25 or 50 minute focus block on any task in your weekly plan, and note what got done at the end. From Friday the weekly review comes first and shows how much time went into your tasks. Add the open tasks to your calendar in one click.

Why it helps: It's easier to get started, and at the end of the week you see what you achieved instead of just guessing.

2.0 · A new Modulyo: Today, the map and tools

Practice conversations are kept

Your practice conversations are saved automatically, the last ten for each business. Later you can reread the feedback or pick up where you left off.

Why it helps: What you learn in a good practice run stays, and you can come back to it later.

Terms in the steps, a public glossary and life-goal calculator

The guided steps now show their terms at the top: one click shows what each means, and you can ask about it. The glossary and the life-goal calculator are also open without an account, so you can share them with anyone.

Why it helps: An unfamiliar word no longer stops you, and you can share the useful tools.

Challenge: 5 days to your idea

15 minutes a day from 17 to 21 November: three ideas from what you're good at, one picked, a promise put into words, and an offer page at the end. Free, uses no credits, and you can see how many people are doing it with you.

Why it helps: In one week you go from a blank page to a finished idea, together with others, not alone.

Life-goal calculator and pricing helper

Work out what revenue the life you want takes, and the hourly rate that follows. The pricing helper turns that, the time a job takes and the market range into a suggested price, in forints and euros.

Why it helps: Your price stops being a guess and starts from what you actually need.

Practise with your ideal client

The AI plays a client from your own audience: practise a discovery call, saying your price and handling objections, with feedback at the end. It does not replace real client conversations, but it prepares you for them.

Why it helps: Before your first real client call you have already said your price out loud and answered objections.

The weekly plan fits your time and energy

Before the weekly plan you say how many hours you have for the business and how your energy is. If it is low, you get fewer and lighter tasks. In the weekly check-in you can note in one line what gave and what took energy.

Why it helps: You don't get more tasks than fit your week, so it doesn't end with the feeling of falling behind.

Glossary

Value proposition, lead magnet, NPS: the terms from the steps, short and plain, and you can ask about any of them with one click.

Why it helps: Jargon doesn't stop you: it's all explained simply, in one place.

Back where you were heading after signing in

If you click a link to a specific step in an email while signed out, you land on that step right after signing in, not on the start page.

Why it helps: You don't have to find again what you wanted to open.

An offer page from your handbook

Modulyo turns your steps so far into a public page: who it's for, what you offer, the price, and how to reach you. Edit it, publish it, and send the link to your first clients.

Why it helps: You have something to send your first clients without building a website.

No idea yet? Three ideas without signing up

After four short questions Modulyo gives you three personalised business ideas, even without an account. When you sign up, the ideas are waiting in step 1 and you continue from there.

Why it helps: You don't need an idea to get started, and you can try it before signing up.

Idea scorer: which one should I start with?

You can now compare your business ideas on five criteria: energy, knowledge, market, speed and life goal. At the end you get a recommendation which one to start with.

Why it helps: With several ideas, the choice is made by what matters to you, not by doubt.

Your business map

The Progress page shows all 14 guided steps on one map: what is done, which step is next and what opens up later. Jump to any available step with one click.

Why it helps: You see the whole path, so you know how much is left and why one step follows another.

A new Today page and a tidier menu

After signing in you see your next step, this week's three tasks and your credits in one place. The sidebar is grouped by module, and the whole app is more compact.

Why it helps: No searching after you sign in: one page shows what to do next.

1.0 · Handbook, weekly plan, free monthly credits

A weekly plan with three tasks

In Focus you get three concrete tasks each week, based on the steps you have done, and a short check-in at the end of the week. This week's post from your content plan is there too.

Why it helps: You don't have to work out every week what comes next: three tasks that fit.

Handbook: all your results on one page

Everything you built in the guided steps is on one searchable page you can read and copy. If you have several businesses, you can switch between them.

Why it helps: Your work isn't scattered across conversations: it's in one place and ready to share.

20 free credits every month

After the 50 starter credits, the free plan renews 20 credits every month, so you can keep going without a subscription.

Why it helps: You can keep going without a subscription, just at a slower pace.
