What exactly is Modulyo?
Modulyo is an AI-powered business platform and personal partner for anyone seeking a freer lifestyle. It's not another video course you'll never finish, nor an empty chat window. Built around 5 core pillars (Learn, Create, Focus, Analyze, Balance), Modulyo helps you discover your business idea and uses 14 structured workflows to generate ready-to-use assets like value propositions, offers, emails, and lead magnets.
How is it different from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
A general AI chat answers what you ask, and you start from scratch in every conversation. Modulyo follows a proven method and guides you through 14 steps from idea to your first offer, remembers the details of your business, and collects everything in one organised business handbook. You can export the finished handbook and hand it to your own AI assistant, so the two complement each other.
Can I really try it for free?
Yes! The Explorer package is completely free. You get 50 free starter credits to freely explore and test the system. Once they are used up, 20 credits renew at the start of every month, so you can keep going at your own pace. No credit card is required for free registration, there are no hidden costs. Look around, ask questions, and decide if this path is right for you.
What can I try without signing up?
Answer four questions and get three personalised business ideas, use the life-goal calculator to work out the revenue the life you want takes, and read the glossary and the tool map freely. The guided steps, the weekly plan and saving your work need a free account, no credit card.
Can I use Modulyo alongside my own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
Yes, the two complement each other. In the Handbook and on the Offer page, the "Take it to your assistant" button packs who you are, what you offer and for how much, and opens it in Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with one click. From there your assistant works from your business: it writes posts, website copy and emails. Handing over the full handbook comes with the Starter Pack or a subscription. You can also share your offer page with a public link, in English and German too.
What is the Starter Pack?
A one-time purchase with no subscription: 300 credits for $19, usable for 12 months and enough to go through the whole 14-step process. It includes the business handbook export. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. If you later use Modulyo regularly, you can switch to a subscription at any time.
What are credits and how many do I need?
Every interaction – whether learning or creating – costs credits. The credit system allows you to set your own pace: use them all at once, or spread them throughout the month. In the Founder and Builder packages, some of your unused credits roll over to the next month. The free Explorer package's 50 starter credits are usually enough to get familiar – if you want more, switch to a higher package where you can also purchase additional credits if you run out of your allocation.
How does Modulyo help me if I don't have a concrete business idea yet?
This is one of the platform's strengths. Modulyo doesn't expect you to know everything already – but to be curious. In the Create module, for example, we help you step by step to find your business idea, uncover your value proposition, and build the foundations of your service or product. You don't have to think alone – the system asks, guides, and helps unfold what's already within you.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes, completely. There's no long-term commitment, no penalty. If you decide that Modulyo isn't for you, you can simply cancel your subscription in settings, and you can still use the service until the end of the current period.
Pricing and plans
How much does Modulyo cost?
Modulyo starts with a free Explorer plan (50 starter credits, then 20 renewing credits every month), so you can try it right after signing up. There are two paid tiers, each in several sizes (XS–L): Founder from $20/month (500 credits) for people building their own system, and Builder from $50/month (2,000 credits) for higher-volume users — scaling up with your credit needs (Founder up to $100/month, Builder up to $155/month). The price shown is the final amount — no VAT (Austrian small-business exemption).
What is a credit in Modulyo?
A credit is Modulyo's fuel: you spend it whenever the AI generates something for you — a value proposition, a social post, or an outreach email. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance that renews at the start of each month, and part of any unused credits rolls over to the next month.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Explorer plan is free and comes with starter credits so you can try both Learn and Create modes. You can sign up without a credit card and only pay when you're ready for the next step.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Choose another plan on the Subscription page: an upgrade takes effect right away, a downgrade at the end of the billing period. Before you switch, the Stripe customer portal shows the amount, and nothing changes until you confirm. You can cancel any time, and everything stays until the end of the period you paid for.
How many businesses can I build at once?
One active business on the Explorer and Founder plans, as many as you like on Builder. Every business has its own steps, handbook, weekly plan and client board.
Modulyo and your AI assistant
Do I need a ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini subscription?
No. Modulyo uses its own AI, and everything is included in your plan. If you already have an AI assistant, the two together give you even more.
Why isn't it enough to just ask my assistant?
You can, and you'll get good answers. The difference is order and continuity: Modulyo knows where you are, what's still missing, and every answer builds on your earlier decisions.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. Under our AI providers' business terms, data sent through Modulyo isn't used to train their models. The details are in the privacy policy.
Can I take my work out of Modulyo?
Yes. You can download your handbook and keep using it in any tool. Your work is yours.
